NAGC National Glass Seminars
Our national seminar is held every spring in various cities across the US. Activities include lectures by prominent glass curators, authors, collectors and artists; tours of museums, private colledtions, glass studios and historic sites; our national business meeting; plus great food, fun and more! Members receive a discount for early registration.
The 30th Annual NAGC Seminar will be held May 8-10, 2014 in Orlando, Florida and will include The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art in Winter Park, with audio tours using your cell phone (the curator will also be available). Also included are visits to The Salvador Dali and The Chihuly Museums in St. Petersburg, and, a day of lectures at the Doubletree Hotel in Orlando.
The seminar fee is $225.00 which includes the tours, lectures, lunch on May May 8 and the banquet on Saturday, May 10. If you do not wish to attend the banquet, you may subtract $30.00 per person from your registration fee. There is a $50.00 cancellation fee after May 1.
Doubletree Orlando Downtown's shuttle service is available only within a three mile radius of the hotel. Since the main Orlando airport (MCO) is well outside that radius, there is a shuttle service from MCO to the hotel: Mears Transportation (407) 423-5566. $19 one way, $31 round trip per passenger. More detail about the seminar is given in the Registration Form and 2014 Program linked below.
